Since that is apparently the Archmage's Apprentice, you can also just get it through the standalone version of the Newegg/Logitech promotion (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16800993007). Sure it is $11.98, but no need to sort out foreign language magazine purchases. :)

Archmage Apprentice is the same as the Bumbling Wizard?

    Looks like it's only $5.99 now :)
Anyone know if that one is account-wide or a 1-timer?

Bumbling Wizard is the name of the achievement for it. Archmage's Apprentice is the name of the actual companion.

Shipping isn't free which brings up the cost and account wide.

Gotcha, thanks. Hadn't really paid attention to that. :)

Looks to be the exact same giveaway as OnRPG. As in, it is pulling from the same pool of codes.

This sort of thing happened with the Lord of Waterdeep title previously: It had I think 3 different websites all pulling from the same sequence list. :)

Any tips for the non-German-speaking on how to get through the process of buying the correct item on their site? Seems pretty unclear what you need to do

You can order it via this link (and they seem to ship in foreign countries as well):
    http://shop.computec.de/buffed/heftbestellung/monatsausgaben/buffed-magazin-01-02-2014.html

If your county isn't listed in checkout you first have to select your country in the dropdown menu in the shop and then click the magazine again and go to checkout.

It is the same site sort of. Or a branch off, they are related or something. The forums there are from the onrpg site. And its the forum account/password you use to get the code.

Last time Buffed had a promo, a German guildie of mine bought me a copy of the magazine. I don't know if it can be bought online.

Wish I had gotten that previous promo...don't need this one since I already got the Archmage Apprentice from Newegg.

How does that one work? Registered but can't find a place to get the code. The link on homepage to giveaway links back to that page and clicking Neverweinter just asks you to register a new account with PWE.

I have tried 3 times to register to the site but every time my account is being removed a few minutes after creation. No idea why. Do they have an Italian-only policy? Because their site has an English (US) option as well...

Likewise, since they cancelled my registration since I am not Italian. :(

They canceled my account, too, but I tried a different strategy and it worked:

    1. Go to yahoo.it and create a new email adress that sounds like it is from a real italian guy (google up for some italian names or something) and then just be creative with it.
    2. Register on their site and choose a login name that also sounds nerdy gamer Italian. I took Google translator to translate an English term into Italian, put some birth year number at the end if needed and that's it.

That might help you to bypass their picky admins.

I got around it by using an anonymous proxy in the end after having 4 accounts banned (including some via transparent proxies and italian emails/names)

I didn't even get to register...they "detected suspicious activity from my network." What a crock...

Lmao that's what I did but it didn't work , I did try from the same computer 3 times before I tried making an Italian Yahoo email address though so I'm guessing that may have helped them detect my fake account , not going to bother with it , the titles not even really worth the effort lol.

If sites are going to do that then they should not be allowed to give out those offers.

The irony of this is thinking of the non-italians trying to fake themselves as italians to get a promotion that an italian like me does not care about in the slightest. :P
