Some things that bother me about the game

I have been playing sine the ob launch and enjoy the gameplay for what it is. I know the game isn`t perfect but there are a few things that really irk the **** out of me and really put a damper on my experience.

First thing is the identification scroll issue. Why do we need to have three different identify scrolls? Why can`t there just be one scroll and why in the world don`t normal merchants sell them? Why do I have to spend diamonds on something so trivial when the price of things you really need like removing enchantments or changing appearances is so astronomical? A regular vendor should sell the scrolls for a silver or 2 a shot, or sell a stack of 20 for 1 gold. 125 diamonds for one scroll is absurd. I could easily burn through 10k diamonds a day unidentifying items hoping for an upgrade but keep getting duplicates of the same stuff I already have, thus wasting all those diamonds. Please put them on a normal merchant for a reasonable price.

Second thing that annoys me is when I was lower lvl I found a cool looking weapon but outgrew it. I found an upgrade and decided I wanted to make the new weapon look like the old one until I saw it was like 15k diamonds, so I couldn`t do it. Now that I am 60 I still have that weapon and have been saving my diamonds and notice that now the price to change the appearance with the same item jumped to 60k diamonds! Why does changing the appearance of items have to scale up so high in lvl? By the time I save enough diamonds to make the appearance change and do it, I will probably find another upgrade and then the cost will probably be 100k diamonds to alter that appearance. Please rethink the prices because they are outrageous.

I know the game needs to generate income but this is going straight for the throat and a bit extreme. People will eat up unique mounts and armor/weapon models/skins and you could make a fortune there. But things that should be relatively cheap and affordable like the things I mentions are way overpriced. Please look into it.

Id scrolls drop in game about 1 every other group of trash mobs. Spending diamonds on them is fail. Protip: do not ID green junk items you cannot use, vendor them. This does not mean you are wrong about the price in AD and lack of being able to buy them with gold, it just means you may be going about it wrong to work around the (as you noted) poor system.

2) I have no idea what you just said lol. Is there a way to make cosmetic weapons for an AD fee? Sounds like a good way to lose diamonds to me.

3) Economics.... offer it high, and sell a few, or offer it low, and sell a lot, and there is a break even point where both strategies work. Strategy 3, of course, is to start high and sell a few then have a "sale" on it and sell more of em...... wait for it.

When you start identifying lvl 60 items you need to buy scrolls. The lvl 60 scrolls don`t drop that often and start becoming pretty rare. Lvlng up through the game I found enough scrolls to id almost everything I found , then from 55-60 I had to start buying scrolls because the droprate of them is pretty low and I have only found the scrolls for lvl 60 in the underdark. I don`t want to have to only go there for scrolls in hopes I`ll find enough to id the 2 bags unidtified items I have been lugging around. for the past 2 days.


Right click an item and select change appearance and you can change the look of item with another but it costs so many diamonds that I don`t see it happening anytime soon. I`d like to at least look the way I want while I play the game instead of being stuck with the same armor and weapon models for 60 lvls.

I don`t bother with auction houses or sell my drops to players. I vendor everything and while in dungeons, if I can`t equip it I pass on it mostly. I want to be able to play the game and gear myself and earn wealth as I play. Not play the buy/sell game. Some people like it but to me it ruins everything playing an mmo is about when you have to buy your gear from someone else instead of working on getting it yourself.
