Companions as rewards?

I know in Closed Beta I received two separate companions as rewards, one at about level 15 from Sgt. Knox (when you first get sent over to learn about companions) and another later on, which I believe was a cleric companion. Where / when is this second companion awarded? Or was it removed?

I just finished off the Neverdeath Graveyard (and what odd city planner named it that!?!?) and have almost hit level 31 on this character, with no sign of the second companion. I have a funny feeling I missed something crucial.

    The Cleric Companion from the graveyard quest seems to have been removed.

    Ah! And here I was waiting. That would explain it though. Oh well, a couple gold to the Emporium then.

    True - you get one freebie. Fullstop. So, choose wisely or save up your gold (2G for each companion) - or buy Zen. :)
