I've enjoyed finding chests in all of the areas up until the zone Ebon Downs. There has been lots of chests scattered all over all of the lower level zones up until this point. I've searched through Rothe Valley, Mount Hotenow, and Whispering Caverns and have found not a single chest in any of these zones.
My question is: Has anyone else found any chests, outside of closed instances, in any of the highest level zones? If so, could you let me know where you have found one.
If not, could you give a reason as to why there are no chests in the later areas?

No. I mean actual Treasure chests. The kind that are always scattered all over the place in the early zones.

I think he means regular chests - and they are much harder to come by.
I have seen few - but I can't possibly tell you where they were, was awhile ago.
Typically only in dungeons.
Aside from that, the regular chests are largely useless - the chance of ever getting a blue is really low, and a purple? almost unheard of.
Just ignore those HAMSTER chests and do T1 dungeons at lvl 60, every boss drops pretty good stuff and if you do T1 dungeons during the dungeon delve event you get a chest at the end with a blue or a purple in it, and a heck of a lot of unicorn seals to buy good stuff lol.

I see. Well I can rest knowing that there are at least 1 or 2 out there. Found it hard to believe they would have just took them out all together. Thanks for your response.

Not everyone is looking for the chest strictly for the loot. Sometimes the finding itself is the reward. Gotta keep that in mind Its good to know though that there are some in the higher levels outside of the dungeons. Exploring is often its own reward.
