PVP - doesnt fill spots after someone quits/is kicked?

Wow so yesterday we started playing, and just after 1 minute some dude started to afk so I just kicked him out, but no one filled his slot.

Seriously?
Even in wow you could join a match that was about to end.

    Even in a game that has been improving for 8 years? That didn't have battlegrounds nor LFG the first years?

    I'm not saying NW shouldn't have it, quite the contrary, I think it is necessary asap. But your "even" comparing it to the most complete game which has been under development for 6 years, and released for 8, sounded funny to me.

    It doesn't matter what it didn't have 8 years ago. It matters what it has now. Neverwinter was just released, it should have things like this. A comparison to WoW is completely legitimate. It's the standard, and using the excuse of "it's been out for 8 years to improve" is just trash. This game has had however long development took to look at other games and implement things that are successful.

    Look im not talking about incredible and complete non possible for any other game to have ammount of content.

    Im talking about pretty much basic design flaw.
