Foundry Issue: Cursor roots to middle of screen

So I am testing out the Foundry, seeing how it works and the quirks. I made a few characters in the costume designer area, and occasionally, when I try to place them on the map, it causes my cursor to root right there, if I move it at all, it will simply reset back to that spot. Usually right in the middle of the screen. I can't use the start menu to get out of it, it only works when I cntrl-alt-delete, force log-off, and it closes down the application. Any help would be appreciated.
