Is it possible to make an NPC turn hostile after a dialog response? And is it possible for a BOSS to say something before or while attacking you?

Could it be done by making the NPC de-spawn and have the hostile spawn in the exact location?

    1) There is no boss encounters
    2) There are two things of NPC (non playable characters if you dont know): Encounters and Contacts

Encounters do everything like running from you, following you, fighting with you or against you (enemies).
Contacts do... contact you. Sometimes they can wander.

So, if you want to talk, use Contact, if you want a fight, use Encounter.

    For your problem:
    1) Place a Contact NPC, change his costume, so it will add to library as customized. Make him "disappear after dialog prompt" and select prompt.
    2) Place an Encounter NPC (1-mob encounter, difficulty hard), change his name and costume to one saved in #1 point, resize if needed. Make him "become visible after dialog prompt" and select the same dialog prompt.

Yes. Make the npc disappear, and and encounter using the same costume appear, on dialog completion/objective reached (objective reached works more reliably). Encounters have chat lines they can be assigned, and they will play these.

That's exactly what needs to be done. As long as you set the timing so that they're not spawned at the same time, it's OK. My times were off in the beginning and the hostile was attacking the NPC when I got there...LOL! It looks a little hokey when the "transition" happens, but it's all we have right now.
