Yeah...just not getting why hard core end game players are flocking to Neverwinter...we had some moron screaming over VC last night during normal Cloak tower of all things. I swear I think he had Tourettes syndrome and scrub and baddie was the focus words of the day.

The we got the speech about once the top guilds started "Raiding" (what those big five mans?) They would force the devs to make the game like Vanilla Wow. It was scary and sad all at the same time and would have been laughable if it wasn't so **** pathetic.

I'll be glad when the end game locust leave quite frankly.

A lot of them are probably here because they are Kripparian fanboys and whatever Krip does,so do they as well (including but not restricted to more nefarious game mechanic/bug exploits).

While Krip will probably be finished with Neverwinter soon enough,it still doesn't change the fact that when I heard he was going to be playing NW it made me feel sad for the community. Not because of Kripparian himself but the legion of dimwits that shadow him.

At any rate it is what it is now and we have to see it through until a couple of popular streamers leave

SOrry, but I call bull**** on this.

A developer would never enter a voice chat and then ask someone to remove the foundry missions ... you want to know why ... THEY CAN REMOVE THEM THEMSELVES WITHOUT EVEN ASKING THE PERSON WHO MADE THEM!

I'm sorry, but until we receive a proper response from a proper member of PW/Cryptic staff people will not stop using them or creating them.

call bs if ya want im just telling ya what was being said in stream and chat.

Can you provide us direct and official information on a ban taking place from this happening?

of course not. going not only by what is being stated by the masses but by logic. If you are pwe/crytic and you depend on your cash grab stores in your newly released f2p mmo, then would you not ban people for exploiting a bypass to leveling? It is totally irrelevant that something is possible. It is an EXPLOIT, I personally don't give a HAMSTER how people spend their time in this game but I can tell you that even with no official report, Cryptic and PWE sure as hell care and want people spending $$$ so they will shut it down. If not then they're bigger idiots than all the ones arguing about why it should be ok.

That's because everything on the internet is true... I'm a French model!

As for people using the foundry to level and hitting the end game "less skilled"... I absolutely disagree with this. If anything, most of these players are more skilled. Most of the mobs that give this "broken xp" are heavy hitters with loads of health. I learned more about my class using foundry quests than I did lore questing. I also play in a group to make it even faster, so most of my playing is group play as well.

Are there some foundry quests that allow you to level faster? Yes... But does that mean you have to do it? Of course not...

Enjoy the game your way, everyone else will enjoy the game their way. That's the entire point of a MMO.

Wait...what? How someone plays the game makes it less fun for you? HOW?!?!

    My thoughts exactly.

This not WoW, RIFT, or anything like several other clone games. It is played differently and whether you level to max in less than one day or over the couse of...weeks...does not matter. It is attitudes like the OP that continue to get in the way of my fun no matter what game is played, because no matter what game is played, the same threads and complaints appear...always. So paly as you like and try to enjoy the experience instead of letting people tell this is best, no that is best...:p

In numerous interviews I read Cryptic said that you could level all the way to 60 just from the Foundry if you wanted. Let people play the game how they want. I don't see how this is "ruining the fun". Whose fun?

Yup the devs even said themselfs this was a legit way to level.

I'm sure the devs meant for us to level to 60 in 24 hours by nuking completely defensless mobs.

huzzah for risk vs reward ! lol

Op makes perfect sense, it would be like playing a sport and your the only natural guy and all others are on steroids..

No, in sports you are playing AGAINST other players. In an MMO you are either playing WITH other players or you are soloing. MMOs aren't a race - people are always starting new characters.

If there is a rule against exploiting and you have evidence that players are breaking that rule you should file a report instead of tattling on the forums.

. . . . . We don't need threads like this. The exploit is known by the devs and they are banning those who make them and maliciously use them and are working to destroy the exploit. We already have a couple threads on this in the Foundry forum also. Posts which detailed this exploit, since this thread is locked, are being removed entirely instead of editing, as with the other open threads.

We need an official response and not the volunteer community team response, which is unfortunately their opinion on what they believe Cryptic would say.
. . . . . Actually, everything we tell users in regards to the Rules, Terms of Service, and EULA comes straight from our Community Managers that tell us what to tell you guys. We are their eyes and ears and when needed, their mouths as well. If we don't know an answer to a RoC/ToS/EULA question or inquiry, we send it to a CM and they either handle it or tell us what to say. Our posts are constantly reviewed by PWE, if we say something wrong, you can bet we won't be here much longer.
