After waiting for most of it to be complete I think the general design of the foundry is great. But still it crashes alot is anyone else having this problem. I mean I have seen other peoples adventures and they are great and rather large. I can barely make one or two rooms before something goes wrong with the system.
Well from what I understand Foundry isn't completly finished yet. I had loads of trouble with what I thought was the system but turned out to be just missing stuff maby it's the same for you?
Hijacking your thread a bit now since I can't post new threads, just replies for some reason. Wonder if someone could help me with some issues I'm having.
1. After trying to respec my Foundry character I now have a butt naked char running around who can't even fight, any ideas how to fix this? Sure I have the Ctrl+space for instant kills but I can't use that if I want to test the challenge on different levels. Any idea how I can fix this?
2. Can I make objects into transitions or make doors of different designs than the two transition ones? (I have no option for door in special)
2. I'm doing a map using the "Flat Detailed Small" outdoor map that looks a bit like a city street. Now I want to make one of the last three doors that are above some stairs (which one doesn't really matter just need one of them) into transition doors whitout it looking really weird. Is that even possible? Otherwise back to last question can I make an object like a pillar into an transition door, then I could put it someplace else on map.
3. One one map I want the trasition door (or object if thats doable) to be invisible untill all the quest objectivs are finnished (last is a dialog) I've tried putting it as being invisible untill objective is done both as an object and a door when placing it on the map. But when I choose the transition on the story tab the option seems to dissapear and the object is either visible (as with the object) or invisible (with the door) all the time. This makes it so that I can't really make the transition to the next zone since the idea is that the character should go there either in the preferred way of being teleported by an object or by an invisible door that becomes visible when holding up the magical orb in front of it (orb is required for both types maby I should say)
Now can I make either a transition item that only becomes visible when you have the quest objects or a transiton door that becomes visible on the same terms? If so how do I do it cause I can't figure it out.
4. Why does an object or NPC sat to meet different conditions, like being invisible up to the condition is met loose that option when put in the story tab. When you go back and look at the popup for both the story tab and the map you get no new option to choose conditions and if you have the option to choose it doesn't have any objectivs even if you have several before that in story tab?
5. I've read a bit on how to first talk to an NPC and then make the NPC attack but because of to much text around it my brain can't actually grasp how to do it. Could someone please make 123 steps for me. For example 1. Create NPC 2Put NPC on map 3 Duplicate NPC (if that is what you do) Since I'm having the issues stated below I don't know how to make first NPC (that you talk to) dissapear and second NPC (that attacks) do that after the conditions before that are met. I actually don't know what I'm missing when options I have when putting things on map seem to dissapear when put in story tab.
