Help a foundry newb out please.

Bit of a simple question i'm sure for a lot of you foundry authors. I'm trying my hand at a pretty simple quest and wanted to place some 'clues' i.e. items I made in the foundry onto the map, however I have no idea where to find the items in the map screen to actually place them. It's probably staring me in the face but I can't see it, any help would be very much appreciated.
