Is there any chance we could get the Prayer option on the gateway? We could park our character at a campfire or use a portable altar every time to make it still fall in line.
I just think it would be nice for those people who have to go on vacation and can log in on their phone and not lose celestial coins or progress on ardent coins.

Yea, I think it would be nice to be able to have another feature in the gateway to play with on the go. Gain a little AD and could gold sink by having to buy portable altars.
Also would love to have access to guild chat, if that is possible. Gem thingy too though. Always afraid I will time out somehow, since I work 12 hour shifts. I try to do it in the mornings and when I get back, but missing one and losing 7 daily tokens would suck.
Yea...I literally plan a window when I'm working all day to get home long enough to pray so I don't lose my progress...unfortunately, with all the unscheduled downtime lately, I lost 3 days worth of coins...
Really a crappy requirmeent to pray every day or lose it...really need an option to do it remotely.

Its a conspiracy. They are making us pray to some evil god daily.
I don't see them doing this - the whole point is to get you to log in to the game.
The gateway serves a different need - it keeps you connected to the game so that once you're done with work (or whatever keeps you from playing), you're excited to log in and get your crafted items or AH winnings. But allowing invocation doesn't really do that.
"Participation in PVP-related activities is so low on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis that we could in fact just completely take it out of STO and it would not impact the overall number of people [who] log in to the game and play in any significant way." -Gozer, Cryptic PvP Dev
