Scroll of life what slot does it go in? How to use it?

Ok I feel really dumb to have to ask this question so please have mercy on me and someone tell me how to use the scroll of life I purchased?

I hate dying for no reason when I have a scroll of life that would keep me from dying.

I hate the few seconds given to decide what to do, why is it only a few seconds? I cannot access the inventory to get to my scroll of life in that short time. What am I suppose to do when the death warning is being given?

Is there a way to give me more slots? I only have room for
1. Healing Potion
2. Greater healing stone
3. transport scroll to protectors enclave
4. Horse

I tried to put the scroll of life in the Potion slot and it does not work. I keep getting message "The item does not go there."

I do not understand is there a way to create more slots for this game to use for quick access to hotbar like in other MMORPG online games?

I do not understand why we cannot use a Healing Stone to save our life.

Please someone kindly have mercy if you know the answer and share it with me.

If you have one, you should be able to just click where it says on use the scroll of life when that screen pops up when you die. No need to slot or go into inventory. If you are in a party though, and someone can come get you up, that's a better option.
