I am loving the foundry and have been able to figure out just about everything except 1 item that has been bugging me for hours.
Is it possible to create multi-level areas with stairways connecting each level or can this only be done with teleporters? For example, I wanted to make a castle or tavern type map that would have rooms on a second or third level with connected stairwells.
As a side question, is it possible to have an outside area connected to an inside area without a load screen? This would be for a court yard in the middle of the zone.
I was struggling with this yesterday too. I eventually just gave up and made my map single level because I was more interested in building the quest than making the map multilevel.
There are a few prefab interiors that have stairs up to another level, but I couldn't find any way to do it myself.
Cannot do this. The best you can do is create multiple rooms on the same map and use teleporter and describe to player they are going to "second level" or something. TO them they will believe they are on another level vertically, even though they really aren't.
