So right now i'm a level 22 trickster rogue and i took a moment to take a propper look at my gear.
It looks amazing. For me it looks like a cross between a masked cowboy and an officer from a victorian army, and it looks amazing in my opinion.
anyone else impressed by the gear?

Yes, I like the overall look. I would like to see some more variation - all members of the same class look basically the same. But hopefully that will change as the game matures and more and more is added.

The designs certainly are nicely done and detailed, though I do support the notion of having more different styles. That would certainly help. Also, the dye system erally should become more like GW2, aka you can find and unlock them for use, but can also buy them off the item store if you want. That would add a lot of diversification to the game imho
The armors look fantastic. Very D&D 4e. The textures are great and I particularly love how my Control Wizard has wrinkles in her outfit's fabric where it touches her skin like -real- fabric does, rather than just being body-paint under frilly bits like so many other games have.
I would, however, prefer an unlock and keep dye system. It would make it a lot easier to get my outfits looking awesome and I'd be far more inclined to buy every single color of dye off the Zen Market and the AH as well, just to ensure I get a great palette.
.. On every one of my alts (I'm already up to 5 and eagerly awaiting more classes!)

Great Weapon Fighter tanks? Who are you kidding? Cleric tanks. They draw -all- the aggro.
Yeah, they look decent, i really do hate that one that has the front loincloth but nothing in back though. ugh. Looks like an apron. I'm also annoyed that you can't swap looks on all items, there is no guide that tells you what you can and can not use for appearance. I have a blue head piece that looks like a wizards hat, but it wouldn't let me use that for looks on a purple, but i could put a white one on that purple. O_o
There are more gear looks at cap, but still not many, and without a preview, it's a guessing game. :P
Yeah, they did design some alright looking stuff. It's a shame it only changes every 20 levels or so. You'll be looking like that till you hit 40 probably, hope you like it!
