Has anyone seen an eta on up time ? Also what time did the servers go down i just got home from work and found them down real bummer=(. But its early in the launch so to be expected just wondering if i should play some path of exile or fallen earth tonight instead of sitting here reading all the *****ing.
I am going to live some limited feedback as well. The game is fun the pvp is great the questing is standard mmo stuff but interesting enough ( i love forgotten realms though so i am an easy win there) the multiple types of currency is annoying and i was a bit sad to see that get carried over but i guess its become a mmo staple ( im an old EQer so i dislike a lot of the modern WoWification of the mmo genera).
It also is not D&D imo but im an old AD&D 2nd edition guys and the new Hasbro Wizards of the cost stuff just dose not feel the same and no dice rolls other than pseudo rolls on ability scores is a drag for me. Its basically a modern mmo in a D&D setting which is fine but i was disappointed that it wasn't more advanced with multiclassing ext especially considering what ddo was able to do.
In the end i feel like ill end up spending around 60 bucks to unlock some character slots and maybe a few other things if there are other account unlocks ( i never buy vanity items or pay to win items) and play for a bit probably dependent on how much fun the end game dungeon and pvp are. Ive heard there is no raiding and it will probably be small time anyhow , honestly how you can call 10 or 20 man stuff raiding is beyond me , 70 people keying for emp in ssra temple then raiding to get keys will always be raiding to me not 10 people in a que wtfbbq rolling content. All that to say i guess i dont care about raiding anymore it no loner feels epic in any mmo like it did in the early years of EQ so that dose not matter much to me anymore.
I hope the game keeps rolling out interesting content and gives you a reason to play when your max level cause it seems fun enough right now even if it also fells like pretty standard modern mmo stuff in a typical ftp = pay to win setup.
