I have been working on having a transition from an outdoor map back to Enclave that does not involve a door object. I want to use a horse or cart to transition with. I am dreading making this have a stable of sorts at the end where the player has to go in to transition to Enclave. This has been an all day thing for me. I have seen 12 tutorials made by players for doors and gates. None were for objects or creatures (examples: horses, riding wolves, carts, and other applicable objects.)
Really need to get the training part of the foundry done to help with things people don't have tutorials for across the internet.
If you are trying to use an NPC as your map transition (e.g. a horse), then what you want is to put an invisible interaction sphere in the same location and then link THAT for your map transition. Map transitions can only be linked to objects, not NPC's, as far as I know.
That said, wagons, carts, etc. should all work fine as objects you can select in the map transition component selection doodad.

I've tried the invisible sphere. It only connects with the other side of the transition point connected to it. If I delete either the opposite also disappears. I have been able to transition from one side of the map to the other. Unless there is an option I am missing. I might have to use a tree next to the horse to be a transition point. (horse tied to said tree) Tree or cart will be the next experiment in this endeavor.
Also, have a friend working on his own map. He wanted to know how to have the player exit onto the same spot they left from in Enclave. Like how the quests do when made by the Game devs? If this is possible.
It sounds like you are trying to use a teleportal object. Teleportals are just for moving around in a single map, they do not allow you to transition between maps. The only way to transition between maps is via the special static quest objective at the end of your map in the story board, which, like any other "interact" quest objective, can only be attached to normal objects.
You specifically want the "invisible interaction" object, which is a normal object that can be attached to interact quests.
When you finish the last map quest objective and do the transition, and the next map is a public adventure zone (Enclave), then you will be placed back in the same spot you came in from on the live server. However in the test mode you always end up back at the hall of justice or whatever, but once it's published it'll work as expected.

Okay. Thank you Nezroy. I will give that a try. Also thank you for the explanation for the Enclave thing. Been going crazy trying to figure that one out for the team. ^.^

Here's hoping I can get the outdoor map to work.
