[Question] Story Objectives Triggering Encounters?

Greetings,

I have a question in regards to a Foundry quest that I'm working on. Let's say I have a Story Objective to talk to several NPCs. This would be several Talk To Objectives in parallel on the story board. Now for each individual NPC that I talk to, I would like to have certain things to be triggered from that.

Would it be possible to trigger an encounter to spawn and the NPC to disappear using one of the Story Objective Dialog prompts as the trigger point? Or is that not possible since the NPC is used in a Story Objective?

The other way I can think of to do this is to not have the Talk To Objectives in parallel but in series and just have the NPCs disappear and the encounter spawn based off of the Objective Complete trigger. I know this is how it has to be done in Star Trek Online, but I was hoping they would add the ability to allow Story Objective elements to trigger non-Story Objective elements in Neverwinter.

Yes, this is possible (I have a dialog objective in my quest's storyboard, and some dialog options in the dialog spawn enemies). Just make sure to trigger the encounters from a conversation-ending dialog prompt that doesn't have any text in it, as the encounters WILL attack the player while he's reading the text otherwise.

There should be something in the specific Encounter that says to Appear at 'Dialog Prompt', which means they'll spawn in right after whatever it is you want them to spawn after is said. You'd just need to select the Dialog Prompt itself through the Encounter panel.
