Where do I get a hammer?

Is the only way to get a hammer through the profession booster packs? Can we not aquire any of these assets through quests or vendors?

    The Profession Supplies Merchant sells Worn Tools of all types. Click the Assets tab at the top of the Vendor window.

    Thanks, But can we not find any of the more rare items out in the world through questing? or is it only the booster packs paid for with zen?

    Blessed profession packs paid for with 5 days worth of invocation coins should have a chance of giving you the better assets.

    And what about these Arcane Shards and Crystals? Profession Booster Packs only?

    No you find those randomly from resource points.

    For Arcane Shards and Crystals, look out for the "Professions resources" happy hours. during those periods you will have high chance of getting the rare shards and crystals

    According to the tooltip on them, you only get a chance at resources, meaning that the only place i am aware of getting green + level assets is from the zen shop, or auction house.

    You can get rares using leadership, get it high enough and you can start doing tasks that reward packs with a chance to give crafting resources.

    Leadership will give rare crafting materials like these arcane crystals huh?

    I tend to find them more with "Gathering". The seem to come of arcane and religion nodes the most for me
