Quests not showing...

I started the book of souls chapter I and then, while trying to enter the Abyss, got a server timeout and ended up on the login screen.
Now, after reentry the quest is gone from my quest journal. If I try to accept the quest again from the foundry, it tells me I already got the quest
What to do?
//edit: after two logoff and on again the quest shows in the journal, but I cannot continue because it dropped me at Protectors Enclave. I guess I have to abandon it and repeat...
