Right now I'm spending time with someone in my party trying to find the last "plant" item to spawn the second pedestal chest. We've spawned one with the crystals, and the other person found the middle plant piece for the plant pedestal.
So we have two pieces of the plant: The middle and the right.
Can anyone tell me where the left piece is? We've been at it for an hour! Is it possible someone in our party picked it up and left the dungeon with it?
Thanks!
Also, our clear chest was bugged. No one could open. Q_Q

We had the same issue first time we did the tower. In our case we had actually missed 1 of the bosses. In the botanical garden (red part) there is a path downwards which we missed, at the bottom is a boss called Throg or something like that. He drops 1 of the plants for the hidden chest at the end.
is it cloak or is it clock? cloak tower makes little sense to me ?
Yes it is Cloak Tower, it's talked about is the pen and paper stuff:
On page 134 of Volo's Guide to the North The Cloak Tower is discussed;
"At the spot where the Neverwinter River flows into the city stands the Cloaktower(42). This is the meeting place and citadel of the Many-Starred Cloak. Among the treasures known to reside within this warded and trapped seat of power is a wondrous magical device found in a Netherese ruin: Halavar#146;s Universal Pantograph.43 It reputedly can make two coins from one, or two swords where there was only one before!"
you where needing the mushroom that was what you are missing....the actual journal entries in the tower tell you what you need for those two chests......now the only thing I want to know is how to activate the third chest...it would not be there unless it was possible to use it.

Yes, the big nice chests at the end of dungeons that are always visible, are only -lootable- during dungeon delve events.

this is the first time i've heard about this. I'm aware of the chest that's available during the dungeon event but no idea what the secret with putting items on the pedestal is all about. Anyone wan't to write a explaination on what it is, what its needed, where its at & what do u get?
You need three different crystals and three different plants. The first time I did the Cloaktower our party missed the blue crystal in the blue cavern, and the mushroom off of the body of the Throg boss at the bottom of the botanical cavern.
Two chests open at the final level when you place the three items on each altar. The other more fancy chest is only openable when the dungeon delve is activated.
Do you know how to start the Cloak Tower? I have gotten inside the instance with a group several times. The sparkle trail leads to a wall that will not open. I have been told if you have party members higher than 16 the dungeon has to be manually started. No one in any of the parties I have been knows how to do this. Hence I have never done the Cloak Tower.
