Missing Doomguides

The quest Missing Doomguides is still glitched. It never progresses past "Search for more Clues" even after you find the backpack. I have reported this is every Beta weekend so far and still nothing has been done about it.

    I am also suffering this bug. It has been days from now. Can you please fix this? Thanks!

    I too am having this issue. I have exitted/re-entered quest, dropped/re-acquired it, stopped/restarted the server to no avail. I submitted a game bug (twice - only because I cannot see the first one I resubmitted it in case it did not get saved).

    This is a game stopper

    Got all the way to end the, defeated the red wizard and his allies, and now stuck in an empty instance with Severin writhing in eternal agony and a chest taunting me with its unavailability.

    So... yeah... still bugged. Log out, log in, leave and return, nothing works to get past it. :(

    edit to add: Apparently, the solution was to reset the quest. They did so without as much as a whisper to me. Would have been nice to know they were doing it, instead of suddenly seeing it reset without so much as a peep. Would have been nicer to actually have them set it as "complete" and let me get the chest without having the do the whole thing over. =/

    On the other hand, another run with loot and experience isn't bad. :)

    UPDATE: Created another character on a different server (Rouge on Dragon) and hit the exact same issue.

    Please fix or post an update on this issue (beg, grovel, plead, sacrifice virgin half-orc)

    POSSIBLE WORK AROUND

    Clicking the "DONE" button does not complete the step, however, pressing "numpad 1' (end) caused the step to complete and you can proceed normally.

    Hope this helps others!
