Download Dificulties.

I've tried patching the most current client the last two days and every time I get to about 72% it freezes up. Anyone else having this problem?

    Mine just updated and it was fine. Try disabling on-demand patching if you haven't and maybe try using a proxy from the options.

    Already ruled out the usual suspects? Ports, firewall, antivirus, yada yada yada?

    I had downloaded the official torrent, then got a 1.6 GB patch and a number of smaller patches after that. If your client always hangs at the same point, it could be that your "base" data (the unpatched client) has corrupted files. The patch is done sequentially, it patches as it downloads (instead of downloading the whole patch and then applying it).

    Personally I want to know why the patcher refuses to work if I have TeamViewer running. Constantly forgetting to turn it off when I want to patch PW games.

    Thank you everybody for your suggestions. I had left my firewall up... I was able to finish download/patch after turning it off.
