Going back to old shows, some started so well.

As I've been doing anything and everything to kill time this week and having HBOgo on my ipad, I went back to watching the Sopranos from the beginning.

I forgot how great that show was when it first started. The characters are all so interesting. And while terrorizing at times there's also a sense of humor and love of family. I don't know what it is about family, one minute you are hugging and kissing, then you're screaming and ready to kill each other. Is it just Italian families or does everyone have things like that? Such a great show.

What are some favorites that you go back to?

I really wish I could see the old Carol Burnett shows again, they are still hilarious.

    Wife and I were just discussing the Carol Burnett show last night. We both agree that she made a huge mistake not releasing her show for sale on VHS/DVD/Bluray. Her audience is slowing disappearing. She missed the boat on that.

    We've found a new TiVo addiction recently...Barney Miller. It's been so long since we've seen the show, it's like a whole new series all over again.

    I am from the UK so we miss quite alot of good shows here, or get them later. Me and my bf have Netflix and Lovefilm for this reason; i just finished watching Breaking bad for the second time, i love that series. I go back to House MD quite often too.

    Some of the ones i could watch again are; Damages, Prison Break, Criminal Minds (i freaking love that show, cheese and all), Lie to me (why oh why did you cancel this?!) and The Shield. Not to forget Warehouse 13 and Firefly.

    I would like to see "Dead Like Me" again. Loved that show.

    I'm pretty sure that Dead Like Me is online somewhere. Maybe in Showtime's archives since they are the ones who had it first.
