Armor, outfits, and general overall looks?

I was wondering if there's any visuals of gear available so we can get an idea of what looks we can cultivate for our toons?

I'm hoping to at least get a different hat for my rogue. Zorro just ain't her style.

As far as I know no one has built a costume guide yet. That being said... you will likely find what you want in the zen store and are unlikely to find what you want as drops. The game seems to rely heavily on cosmetic changes being paid for with general content being free. This tends to mean that while your armor will improve in stats as you get new drops, it tends to look like your old armor.

Don't talk nonsense there no armour models etc for sell in Zen shop as of BW3 (only dyes are sold in shop and a set of noble non combat clothes).

The lack of models is more likely to do with it being Closed beta.

What he said is true, but I strongly believe there will eventually be a large selection of cosmetic packages available in the zen shop. What better way to make money then to give you the option to make you character look as powerful as he is?

Who wouldn't want a robe of shifting colors surrounded by floating skulls?

It seems like there are fixed "styles" for the various classes, and different sets of armor just alter that one style slightly... for the trickster rogue, for example, sometimes there would be a popped collar on the left side, sometimes the right side... sometimes a long sleeve on the right arm and bare left arm, sometimes the other way around.

At a glance ALL the trickster rogue armor looked IDENTICAL. It's only when you look at specific parts that you can see there are some ~slight~ differences. I kept hoping they would have some varied looks but up to level 50 it was all the same old same old.

I honestly can't think of a single reason why they would not have every armor model in closed beta that they would have in release. Its not like its an aspect of the game that is super secret. Everyone knows that one way or another there will be diversity of armor appearance in the game. The question is whether it will be free drops or zen store items.

Certainly cosmetic changes to your character (ie armor appearances) are absolutely the most obvious and least controversial cash store item there ever could be. I don't care if they had them in game yet or not, it is all but guaranteed from a pure logical analysis that sooner or later it will be in game. The only question is how they will implement it. Will they have a package you buy that changes all your armor to go along with a theme, or will you need to buy individual pieces etc.

Stuff as item design is easy to make, it's not something they need beta testers to test, they can easily do that inhouse.

All I can say is when you have what I consider such high quality out-fits, (In terms of texture / detail and no clipping.) it's a very TLC development process and most likely do not wish to release anything other than when it is 100% perfection.

Or in other words its not ready yet, ie they have not made them yet.

I don't doubt they will introduce more content as they create it. I just can't imagine them having models done and not using them. I also don't think they are madly spinning out models between BW3 and launch either. I am sure it will be a slow and steady progression, but what that will mean in terms of actual output is any ones guess.

I think that's their philosophy for one part, being that they are comfortable with it being F2P there is no demand for a completely finished product on launch.

When you beta test a game, you test the WHOLE GAME, or none of it. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to leave parts out.

    Far more likely is that...WYSIWYG.

Occam's Razor makes the cutting clean.

WYSIWYG....man that was driving me nuts, then I realized "What you see is what you get" now I can go back to stressing until Beta 4 opens up on Friday.
