Does someone know the meaning of the term in detail ? I hadn't checked it in game.

Because, at the next chance to play NW, I think I'll try Guardian Fighter.

I found the mention that GF's DEX gains +1% Resistance ignored.

Hmm... I am not 100% sure, but I am guessing that maybe it's for if... say an enemy has resistance to melee damage, the +1% goes through that without being reduced?

Like if someone resisted 50% of 100 damage for 50dmg done, it would instead resist 49% and have 51dmg done? That is my guess.

There are quite a few resistances in D&D rules, so if it just says 'resistance ignored' it is quite powerful, as it may cover all of them. Especially powerful when dealing damage. Useful to any class, especially in PvP and against bosses.

It basically some D&D mobs have damage resistances its a staple of D&D what resist ignored does is reduce this damage reduction IE you do more damage to these mobs. BTW it normally the big mobs like dragons that have this, in PnP good luck hurting a dragon without some kind of magical DR ignoring weapon.

As you build defense, you get damage resistance. Armor pen as well as a primary stat for each class gives resistance ignored. So it appears to be a function of armor penetration.

    Thanks for all reply.

"Resistance ignored" means a factor of increasing armor penetration?
So, is it a offensive thing?

(I had guessed it is defensive thing.)

It is offensive. Your attacks will deal more damage because they ignore enemy resistance to your attacks.

Armor penetration appears to ignore defense 1 for 10. In other words, 150 points of armor penetration ignores 15 points of defense. I didn't verify these numbers personally so take it with a grain of salt.

The damage that bypasses the defense is "ignored damage" which is dealt directly. From my observations, this is mainly a PVP or boss-fight stat; against normal mobs, you tend to sacrifice too much crit, power or defense to build it up to decent levels. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that rogues probably want to get gear +armor pen for boss fights (or PvP), but GW probably want to stack + def and + avoidance.
