I did not get a chance (for reasons which will become apparent) to put any bug reports in during the last Beta-Weekend event – which was a blast! – so I am throwing them out here in a simple post.
1) The Bug Reporting mechanism was broken. Each time I attempted to file a bug report, I received a notification that the system was down or unavailable and that I should try again later. This occurred from Friday evening until Sunday evening.
2) The cape / cloak clipping issue (where the cloak flips forward through the model’s body and sticks out the front of them) that many others have reported was prevalent in my game as well. Fortunately the “disable graphics” option was available and used.
3) Several times through the BW, I lost the ability to interact with items and / or NPCs. I could mouse over them, could highlight them, but the option to press “F” to interact was unavailable. The only recourse was to log out and back in, which fixed the issue in each instance. I tried to find a pattern to this issue, but could not locate one. Once it happened immediately upon login, another time after using the chat interface, another when returning from being AFK, and twice when combat ended.
4) The Control Wizard power (the one that lets you shoot out two ice attacks at different targets) shows a rune over the target selected. That rune continued to hang in the air for a long time after the mob had disappeared – up to and including five minutes later.
5) I joined a team which was queuing up for the Mad Dragon quest. When the team entered, I was kicked from the team. I PMed the team leader and he stated that his log showed I had quit. I had been chatting with one of the other team members, so it is possible that I hit a key to quit the team, but I received no notification that I had quit. I was unable to rejoin the team.
6) A random PUG member shared some quests with me. I had to log off prior to the team completing them all. When I logged back in (an hour later or so) the quests were still available. I completed them, and was then left with no contacts that would speak with me, and no quests. I figured out that I had to completely restart the area (Helms Hold) by going back and talking to the first quest giver – then re-running his quests and eventually getting passed along to Brother Satarin. From that moment, things returned to normal and I was able to complete the area.
