Description: Elders of the Mithril Hall is a guild that has made it's goal to conquer content set before us. Be it raiding, questing, foundry quests, PvP. I am an MMO veteran with 13 years or more MMO experience, and even more D&D experience. We also wish to include RP (this is D&D after all). If the style guild you're looking for is a mature and experienced community, then we are for you. Expect plenty of discussions on D&D tabletop, lore, etc.
Now onto the details:
What we are: A group of gamers coming together to play an amazing game that seems to have a good amount of content. A group of people who can be serious when we need to be, and the rest of the time can cut up and be jesters (for lack of a better word).
What we aren't: We aren't a guild spread across a dozen or more games. I want to keep this guild confined to this game. We AREN'T a pompous group of elitists. Some of us have done some of the harder raids in the history of MMO's as fresh content, and we still remain humble. We AREN'T a group of people who enjoy drama. We AREN'T immature children fighting over loot, nor will we be accepting anyone like that.
Who we want: Anyone, really, within reason. If you are a raider, a PvPer, an RP'er you are absolutely welcome. If not, come on in too. I will go ahead and state though that we are definitely tabletop D&D players so you have to expect some serious nerding out over locales, characters, etc.
What we ask of you: If you join, there are only three rules.
1) If you fly our banner, you represent all of us. I, as the guild leader, won't tolerate drama. If it's all in fun with another guild, great. We can settle it in PvP. If it's malicious hate talk for no reason, that's not okay.
2) Respect your fellow guildmates. Guild drama crushes guilds, and I won't have it. I saw a guild I was in for 6 years on EQ crushed by it and I won't watch a guild I run have that happen. Respect also means you need to help each other out.
3) Most important of all - DO NOT FEED TROLLS, DO NOT BE ONE. It makes us all look bad. This means spamming general chat, ripping people off, etc.
more info to come...
