Updater Lock-up

So I got my key and installed the Updater to install the latest version for Beta weekend.

Every time I start to download, the blasted thing locks up my computer and I have to pull the plug on the computer to get the thing to restart. It does it EVERY TIME. Doing a Hard Restart this many times CAN'T be good for my computer.

    This is happening to me as well, I got as far as 15% downloaded using the direct downloader and it locks up my pc... I am going to try downloading another way.
