Unable to patch

When I first launch Neverwinter from a fresh install, the launcher patches quickly to 87%, then stops and will not make any further progress. Canceling the patch and restarting then shows only 67MB to patch, but any data transfer is close to nil (less than 50 b/s). I have uninstalled and reinstalled; the same problem occurs. This has been the case since 11:30 PM (EST), on 3/8. At this rate, the entire beta weekend will be over before I even see character creation.
