Sleeping Dragon Bridge unplayable after ld

Earlier today, I went ld while I was in the instance for the quest right at the beginning called "Sleeping Dragon Bridge." When I came back online, I was back outside the instance. The problem is that no matter what I do, I cannot get back into the instance to finish the quest. I am also unable to drop the quest to attempt restarting it that way. Unless a gm takes pity on me, this character is pretty much dead in the water. There needs to be a method in-place to re-enter instances in case of link deaths.
