With all the technological advances in today's world, why they have not invented a way to instantly translate languages baffles me.
Game play looks fun though, even if I have no idea wtf they are talking about.
There is a rumor floating around that I am working on a new foundry quest. It was started by me.

Nice find. The new MM animation is sweet as hell.

Yeah, i like the spell and animations better this way, good job.
They are not really saying anything new, didnt watch all of it. The other day they said the game would launch after march but now they just said it would launch when its ready, which is alot wiser.

Probably because some words won't translate properly, or at all. I know some words from a number of languages simply don't "compute" in translation because they don't really exist in their dictionary. It's a pity this is the case, because I'd like to see this kind of thing one day too, but I don't see it happening with many of the barriers faced.
Even with the online translators we have now they don't fully do a 100% conversion, because it simply can't...they find the closest matching word it can represent in these cases, but doesn't always fit even then. This is most likely with asian languages, but not limited to them. Others would be many of the middle eastern languages, especially the older ones.
On topic...I will certainly agree that the Magic Missile is an improvement over an earlier video I watched. I'm guessing they took some feedback for that to heart, hopefully it improves even more as you level or something...even if it's just visual, it's still important to such an iconic spell...no matter how minor or basic it is.

I notice what is missing: the "power bar" to the left of the targeting cursor, where the other characters build "Divine Power" or their Block Meter or Determination or Stealth.
The Wizard powers all have special effects with "Spell Mastery" and work off of stacks of "Arcane Mastery." Presumably the bar is your Spell Mastery bar, and when it hits a certain value, your powers get the special effect.
I also noticed that all the skill items have been renamed from their specific names ("10 Foot Pole") to generic ones ("Dungeoneering Kit").

Unless they launch next January, February, or March, then obviously it will be after March.

Now I can't use that joke any more. Someone mentioned they wouldn't touch Neverwinter with a 10 Foot Pole and I mentioned they better stay 10 Feet away from it or they might get hit by Neverwinter's 10 Foot Pole.

Well there is an actual Dungeonering kit in the PhB.
I really hope the devs change the default stance of all the classes. Otherwise it looks really odd when standing in place and trying to RP with another another player.
Why does the wizard have a moon floating above its head? Is that their weapon?

Yeah they use Orbs as their implement of choice. Basically in fourth edition Wizards have access to four implements that increase the effectiveness of their powers.
Wands: Increases their damage
Staves: Increases their defense
Orbs: Increases the effectiveness of their control abilities
Tomes: increases the effectiveness of summons
Warlocks have access to these as well but there in the form of Rods, Wands, and a special dagger called a Pact Blade.

Well it may still be a "10 Foot Pole" in beta, they were playing an Alpha version, Im pretty sure
I enjoyed watching the 15 minutes of gameplay footage contained within that 78-minute video of two guys talking.

Yeeeeeah tad bit irritating the German guys ran a game today with way more gameplay but the guy apparently doesn't understand you need to equip gear to make use of it.

I don't mind it...it just looks really odd. Going from running to it like its missing an animation. At least in the case of the Rogue they have that shifting their weight bounce going on.
They have, infact most smart phones can translate peoples voices
Siri can't translate New Zealand accent most of the time...it's an exercise in frustration though it's often really funny what she thinks we''re saying
This is why there are no insta-translate apps on the streaming vids...imagine the chaos (it'd be hilarious).
