Lorewise, that can be possible. Compared to Girdle of Femininity/Masculinity, it is not that big of a thing.
I didn't refer to "items" but to "class modules" that can be added to a skeleton to make a new template. For instance one with barbarian powers, fighter armor and paladin lore (this is only an example) or maybe the classical gish, a divine or shadow gish.

I can answer that health002, There will not be multiple servers. Well there will be but you won't be able to tell.
It will be the same as STO and CO, you click to play and it throws you in a relatively close invisible server which actually connects all the game servers into one. There won't be any option to join this server or that server.

Can you tell me how the Game World (or Server) will work then with player population?
Updated 10/05/2012: Cryptic uses one game server per game. This means, Cryptic makes a unified "world server" to play on composed of a bunch of physical computer servers to make one "game world." So no other "PvP Servers" or "Role Playing Servers" are done as separate servers to log into. This also means that User Generated Content via the integrated Foundry tool (and more on that is mentioned in the Foundry section) also is accessed by the same NPCs and objects in the "world Server."
When a public area zone in the game gets too large, it splits it into another "public instance" or "shard." So you could have "The Moonstone Mask" as a public place, then it splits into "The Moonstone Mask1" and "The Moonstone Mask2" when there are too many people for the capacity on a public location zone.
Thanks sorry I meant Evernight. Neverwinter's reflection in the shadowfell:)
I see no reason Evernight should not be included seeing that it is included in Neverwinter's 4e pnp campaign book. Although I am also interested if the official campaign takes us to Evernight or not.
No Evernight is still waaaaayyy more darker then Neverwinter.
Yeah I guess it's DM specific....the campaign I'm playing in now, Neverwinter has taken on many of Evernights characteristics....kind of like streets and areas that are mini reflections of Evernight, almost Ravenloftesque

Yes that's DM influence based on the Neverwinter Campaign Setting, Evernight is much more darker then Neverwinter and in fact its best not to advertise that you are a "good" character. While Neverwinter seems to be portrayed as more of a heroic struggle back to a jewel of the north.
crypticmapolis Question about the Foundry: Will or can there be a feature where we can invite a group of testers in to run through one of our creations before we release it on the public? I think that would be extremely beneficial in promoting really quality Foundry Quests.

Well they have said that at the end of every adventure zone, there is a large dungeon delve for AT LEAST 5 people, and that those dungeons can be up to an hour and a half long.
Crypticmapolis also said that there are large PvP battlegrounds where large groups of players fight against each other.
It's also been said multiple times that in persistent world adventure zones there will be events - which is usually huge raid-type bosses.

I think this was answered before somewhere(I don't remember where but) as -
No, anyone who has enabled to review unreviewed quests can play it. Once it has been reviewed by five players, it will be flagged as playable by all. However, player can test the quest himself from inside the foundry using a few tools only available to them like play quest from certain point, play as god or kill mobs instantly etc.
To develop quests collaboratively (and thus test them) is in the pipeline (dream list) but no where in near future.
Hey Truth various other mods...could we possible get this stickied since there is a good chance for crypticmapolis and possible other devs to answer questions here?
Evernight rocks, and I'm still reveling we get to fght plaguescarred in the Chasm! Bring on the undead horrors too!
I am eagerly waiting to stab Rohini. She turned the life of my main character NPC upside down (Maeve) even before she was born with her 'prediction'. Oh! Frostmourne hungers for Rohini ....

Mapolis I do have one question (should you stop by again sometime soon) how many of the Neverwinter team actually read the forums? (Even a hazarded guess).

He answered a few times on various threads. Almost all of them read, but most don't want to publicly reply, being the behind the scenes type of developers (as many are in all productions.)
I guess my main question would be what kind of support could we expect for The Foundry after launch?
Post-launch support for any feature depends on player reception and use of that feature. I think the Foundry is positioned to have a great shot at being one of the biggest draws to NWO, but players will have ultimate say on where we focus our development time.

Mapolis I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one but I would like to know when and IF (that's right I said "IF") we are ever going to get a solid beta launch date? The first one was the end of 2011...well that was changed to 2012 after PW got the publishing rights, then to the 4thQ of 2012, and now finally 2013. I've already played this game with GW2 after they built up a hype for 6 years and then sadly couldn't deliver what they said. And do not feed me the usual PR HAMSTER of "It will be soon".
One more question I just thought of... How will weapon use work? In other words... will I be able to use all martial weapons on my fighter? Will I be able to choose between two handed weapons, sword and board, and a bow on the same fighter?
Currently weapons are class based, so you get drops that are only equippable by a specific class. There's no proficiency training at the moment. Each class' combat gameplay, feats and abilites rely heavily on the weapons and armor they use, so it's not as simple as being able to switch gear and change your Guardian Fighter to a Great Weapon fighter. I could see abilities added to a class that made them effective with different weapon types though.

We don't have a full zone in Evernight (yet) but you do go there in a couple missions. The lore of a couple zones is heavily tied to the shadowfell as well.

There's a great story arc dealing with Rohini about half way through the game

Beta dates depend on a lot of factors, including feedback from alpha testers, focus groups, internal playtests, development milestone goals, our specific goals for what data we need from beta testing, and much much more. Each of the date changes you mentioned were due to the release date being extended, which subsequently changed our development plans to take advantage of the extra time. Beta will be in early 2013, but that is as specific as I can get.

Really glad to see this as I always found the Shadowfell fascinating. It always reminded me of the Realms Mirror universe

St. Augustinus
Oh! We can choose a deity? Does its choice also make a difference in the game - e.g. availability of special spells or say the emblem on clothes etc.?
Also do we have deity specific and race specific paragon paths? If not, are they in pipeline sometime down the future?
EDIT:
Also can we search players in game on basis of deity they have chosen?
