Forum Bug - Mobile Sytle, Broke my New Forums

I think this is going to need an Administrator's help. Also, I think this is a "hole" in the forums. I know I am a dummy for picking "Mobile" theme, but not being able to switch away from the mobile theme seems like a bug to me.

So -- should I be submitting some sort of Official Ticket or Support Request? I know I can still read and participate, but this mobile Style lacks a lot of the ease of use functions for finding new posts, etc.

I still cannot find a way to switch back to the default forum style

Try the link in the following post, then if you can see the options, choose the first choice, "Forum Default."

It's actually more than just a new skin! It's a total forum software upgrade to boot! :cool:

Just whatever you do, do not change your skin to the Mobile Style until after the issue has been resolved with it, which Adaram is currently afflicted by. Hopefully the last link I provided will allow him to change back to the default style.

Yeah, it's always a good idea to make a contact support ticket (via the link or directly by email) if the issue is not solved in 24 business hours. At worst, it's brought up to the person working on it as solved and the ticket lists this in the reply back to you, or you can reply and note it didn't work. Trust me, I've been there.

This is getting more interesting LOL. Based on the page that shows threads and "Last Posted" stats, the last post in this thread (before I did this), was:

"Broke my New Forums

Last Post By iamtruthseeker Today 03:42 PM
"

But the the last post I see in the "Mobile" thread itself is the one I quoted in this reply (my own).

I am going to try and clear the cache and see if that helps. In the meantime, thanks to all that have replied, but right now I can't read your posts

Zeb! Your are a God! (or at least a forum moderator or something ) ... the above link worked. I am back to normal again. I went in and manually changed my setting back to forum default.

So there were actually 2 different issues:

1. Switching to Mobile Default skin works, but there is no way within that style to switch back to other skins
2. If the thread goes past 1 page, there is no obvious way to switch to the next page on the Mobile Skin. The way I knew there were more posts was from the main thread screen where it shows that someone has replied. I eventually managed to see the second page when I replied to myself (as you see above).

I am happy to open a ticket and report this thread for PWE website fixer people, or, maybe those people are already reading this, in which case, tell me not to start a ticket. I'll wait until tomorrow to create it.

1) Upon their first visit to the forums, accounts are flagged under probation and cannot make new threads but can reply to threads. This generally lasts about a week.

2) 100 copper is 1 silver. 100 silver is 1 gold. When you get 100 copper, the game automatically turns it into 1 silver for you, and so on until it becomes gold. The same is true in reverse when spending coin.

I was messing around with my account yesterday and accidentally changed it to mobile view. How do I change it back to the normal view?

In case you didn't find it:

User CP > under My Account, "General Settings" > scroll all the way to the bottom to "Forum Skin" and change it to "Default Style"

Yea, its just that the user CP option seems to be missing from the mobile skin.
