Lol... Ashroxs one begins to work and yours stops.
it's chaos... but the funny thing is that it did work, and it even display the link and if you click the link it takes one to the png but it's as if it displays it as a link rather then an image tag :S

It looks like that host has had some negative reviews in the security community and even Norton has it blocked, so I am guessing that maybe our forum software is blocking it also. Try using a reputable host like photobucket or imageshack.
It is odd though, as I can still post the image in a post, which might not be so odd if the forum's signature/avatar software runs a varying security script than post's contents. (Very awesome sig pic by the way!!!)
Make sure this is the code you're using in your signature element:
makes sence as it is a project server. gonna try another upload then.
and thanks
edit more funny is that the avatar is linked from the same server...
edit edit still just display the url tag and not the img tag??!!
edit edit edit working now. used the sigpic instead of the img command

Hmm, works fine for me when I upload it to the forum. Try going into the Signature CP Page and then on the bottom should be an option to upload it from the internet:
Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website:
Paste in the url to the image and then click Upload. When the page reloads, go back to your signature text box field and place the code below into the signature text box where you want your signature to appear, or press the "Insert Signature Picture" button.
Nay, signatures are works of the artists here on the forums. If you would like someone to make one for you, just give a shout out and ask and someone may respond in their free time.
yeah it worked with the sigpic command. thanks a million zebular.
and thanks for the sig comment

Most welcome, glad you got it working.
Just a note, you do not need any url in between the sigpic commands. You can actually place text there, as a "tool-tip" - hover over my signature to see what I mean.
Wow there are some great sig's in this thread. I stand in awe of all of your skills.
If someone would be willing to do one for me, I would really appreciate it.
Just with 'Bezza' and my guild title in it would be awesome (guild logo is in the link in my current [boring] sig if that can be incorporated somehow). Having dual axe wielding dwarf (with brown hair/beard, not the ginger one [hiss ginger]) would be perfect, and would lead to much (electronic, good intentioned) love coming your way!

The sig i'm displying now, is not my real signature. There's an online version of the sig that's on display, and if you right-click and copy/past the url of the sig, you'll see that the new sig hot another text, but it's not beeing displayed!?
any ideas? i would have thought it could be come kinda cookie, but as far as i know the forum does't use that or?

Hmmm, try http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/4249/sigql.png instead of the url you are currently using? Perhaps updating the image doesn't update the pic from your forum profile and you need to re-upload it?
it's beeing linked now. still the old sig. I have no clue where it gets it from as it was been deleted on every server, can only guess that it's still saved somewhere on the NW server.
EDIT: finally, had to upload it to nw forum, but tried that before. anyways, working now so must had made an error somewhere.

It could have been your browser's cache. This happens if the file name and address is the same, it will take either a browser restart or clearing of cookie cache (or setting IE to reload all content on every page load) to fix. Glad to see you got it working though!
Still looks awesome!
Just to note again, your code doesn't need to include the url if you're using the [SIGPIC] command. Just put in [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] by itself. Anything placed inside the brackets is called to look at as though it is a tool-tip help text for mouse-over the element in browsers that support it.
ahh now i get the sigpic. was wondering why that command was there. cool. yeah well firefox, should clear reloaded data on a f5 but something went wrong, but doesn't matter now
thanks again

I painted another avatar sense my last one didn't go over very well. This one is based on the character I made during the last beta weekend. Here is a larger version:
