A way for foundry missions to effect the rest of the world in some way

How about when someone makes a foundry mission and it gets so many good reviews. one of the npc's from that mission is allowed to wonder the world. Basically you will get to choose what character. Then flesh out how they will act in the rest of world and then send them on their way. You might even have a choice of areas you can drop them off at.

I don't know about wandering, but devs have already stated in interview that good foundry missions will be acknowledged in the main game. So such a thing will be possible, maybe.

Maybe they could get the missions to interact in a meaningful way. By using compatible item pools, for example. I personally think we should expand our missions to become little worlds of their own. If they don't issue any, say, recommendations on the story or how it interacts with the campaign, there will be a lot of freedom to do whatever ... if pwe decides to have a word to say in the ratings, we may see censorship or worse ...

Cool idea but because it is an mmo, there are only a limited number
of things UGC user generated content can interact with the main game.

    What they have done/can do

They can have a menu where players can pick a UGC to play.

They can have players rate those adventures and leave comments for the author.
(kinda like a mini beta test)

They (the developers) can choose favorite UGC and promote them on the forums.

They can feature certain UGC on the games main web page.

What they can't do or will not do for technical or legal reasons.

    They will not pay authors

They will not mix lore with the core game...UGC can use core lore but
core will never use UGC lore.

UGC will never become a perminate feature in the core...
If they had some contest, they might do this on a one time basis.
