I need help with the settings.

My computer ended up in the geek squad limbo for ten days. I have to reinstall everything I had and the first thing I did was Neverwinter. But the settings were set to default and I can't hardly play with them and I don't know how to reset them so the game works, does anyone have an suggestions. I have an Alienware Nividia, a gaming computer and it was working fine before I used the geek squad when my computer got hacked.

Never mind, it's not the settings, "the geek squad" did not update my video card driver or they swiped the video card. So there is nothing anyone can help with. I got my computer hacked royally from someone pretending they were from microsoft. Dont ever believe that. From remote the geek squad got it working. They left this app panda cleaner on it and thought oh bo de do I will use it and make sure it is still virus free, which I did and then it said hit restart and it never did. So be careful of the geek squad (best buys team) they are not really very good. Happy New Year all.

I always recommend installing Windows + Windows programs (Office, Skype, Adobe, etc) on one partition, and your personal files, games and such on another partition/hard drive. So if your Windows is screwed somehow, you just need to reinstall Win+Win progs.
PD: not installing video drivers... is not "geek" at all

Happy to read that your problem got solved! Only hint I could add: I have a graphics setting bug in the OPTIONS menu (graphics, not display).

Checking those options anew can help, as in example many players forget to turn off the microphone, which DOES slow connection and during events or multiplayer randoms, such can affect fellow players.

Options -> Audio -> VoiceChat, turn off microphone
