Getting frozen to much

This use to happen in the Northdark reaches but finally quit, now in the new module it is happening all the time. The ends of my arms are on fire and cant move-support cant move me-I beat the boss on gradius while having to stay in the same position and it took forever and I did not even get whatever your suppose to get-pieces of nine or wild doubloons-please fix this is very annoying.
