Jubilee log in reward: 30-days VIP expired from promo claim agent and became un-claimable

A 30 day VIP from the Jubilee event was available for claim. Near the end of the summer event once my old VIP had expired I went to the rewards claims to claim the 30 days VIP but the icon and the reward was no longer available to be claimed. I thought like mounts and companions the item would stay in the claimable until claimed. Possible other people waiting for a convenient time to claim their reward also missed out as the 30-day VIP vanished from the rewards claim agent.

    No, they are not. Many rewards have to be claimed within the event period.
    Not sure why you waited for own VIP expire anyway. Claiming it adds 30 days to your VIP. There is no incentive to wait.

    That sucks, I have one in my inventory I hadnt gotten around to turning in.

    Yes, but it is in your bags. Not in the claims agent.

    When u have a vip voucher just use it immediately. It makes no difference to the value of the voucher and that's the way VIP is set-up and designed and always has been, you just keep adding time to it regardless of when u want to do it, u don't have to wait until it expires.
    Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.
