Lliira's Celebration quest bug

It appears the PE instance can be bugged and certain crates do not give fireworks to complete the quest.

In the following, I opened the 5 crates and only got 4 fireworks (I knew which one did not give me firework). I cannot open crate anymore. I would not be able to place the fireworks in the stage until I get the fifth one through other means. It happened multiple times to me (from different crate) already.

I just had that bug a few moments ago. I had to buy some fireworks from the AH to complete it.

and again, WTF is going on.

The instance is bug. Not the character. Don't go to the same crate (which you did not get the firework) for your next alt if it happens going to the same instance.

In addition, I play multiple toon. I don't submit their firework (gained by killing monster elsewhere) to the stage. I collected them in the shared bank. That serves multiple purpose:
    1. I can spend the firework on the toon I want.
    2. It collect a bigger volume of firework.
    3. The extra can be kept for next year.
    4. Now because of the bug. I just get the firework from the shared bank when the crate refuses to give me the firework.

You can drop the quest and do 5 more boxes. No need to buy fireworks unless you want to save time. Agree, it’s another annoying bug.

May be related. I also cannot get the firewood in Lonelywood. I guess the instance I am in is bugged too. And, there is only one instance in this map. Sigh!

I can 'F' it but no firewood popup dialog box.

I think something like it happens to skill nodes as well. Either you can open them and no window appears, or they don't sparkle at all and you can't open them. And once they are bugged in an instance they stay bugged... so you see it in long lived instances like #1.

The giveaway is if it all magically works again after a server reset... it shows that fresh instances work.

A little late, but I just figured out a workaround for the firework bug. I noticed if I went to a box somewhat far away, it worked. Then I thought what if it’s not distance, but time. So, on an alt I got the quest, waited about 15 secs and went to the close box behind the event area and it worked. After that all the other close boxes worked, too, and this worked on my other alts with 0 problems. Wish I had thought of that sooner, lol. So, go the fast route, but wait around 15 secs before going to the first box.

As plan009 mentioned you could also abandon quest and retry. I put my stuff into bank abandoned quest, accepted the quest again, but the creates you already picked up would be gone. You need to find other creates.

I always go the fast route, but then again fireworks also drop from fighting mobs so I just fight them for what I do not get from the crates in PE, at least on the toons I do not play during this event. My other toons never have an issue as fireworks drop like crazy while doing area campaign stuff.

I kept all the fireworks obtained from 'fighting' and stacked them in the shared bank. The original idea was to see which toon need extra Lliira's favor to buy stuff on the last day. I had few hundred firework left from last time. I also have few hundreds pass to the next time. Another reason is there is a cap for the Favor (300). I don't want to waste firework by accident.

Anyway, for this bug, my toon could just get the missing firework from the shared bank to fulfil the quest.

    Hello!

This issue is being investigated, but unfortunately hard to fix. It's mostly related to a few events at the Protector's Enclave. The workaround is to abandon the quest and restart it.

However, do you have any more details regarding the quest in Lonelywood please? @plasticbat

    We apologize for the inconvenience

    Regards,

Not much. I could interact with it. The "interacting" progress bar appeared (in the screen shot). Just no firewood.

I have not gone back to get the firewood yet. I expect I will be able to get the firewood in the new instance in the future (there was only one instance when I was there).
