Damage suddenly went down

nuclearninja1nuclearninja1 Member, NW M9 Playtest Posts: 64 Arc User
I am playing a Dwarf Barbarian(DPS); with an IL of 60K. My base damage used to be ~6200. After updating my Dragonvale Weapons to legendary; my damage went to ~5200. Still IL of ~60K. Does anyone else have this problem? I know my brother and friend(Warlock and Rogue) both have this problem. Is there a bug with the Dragonvale weapons?

If you already have collected "Dragon's Weapon Cache" which is dropped a lot (so far, I have 74 of them), you can get the original weapon set to compare. No, I have not heard about the bug personally. Most people are already using different weapon set such as the one from Northdark.

My brothers damage reset to ~7200. Mine is still ~5200. No wonder I hit something and they just laugh. My group are all ~60K IL. I'll have to check to see if my friends character's damage reset.

This morning my brothers damage went back down to ~5200 again. I tried equipping all my gear; the IL went down; but the damage stayed the same. I saw online, that someone was able to get data averages for damage and other info. Anyone know how to do it? Just to see if my damage is what it should be or what it's labeled as.

Where are checking this? It sounds like you may be in an area with scaling.

Yeah; I forgot about scaling. We're in the NW Siege area. Didn't realize the area was scaled. Sorry; but good to know.

Its been happening to me and nothing to do with scaling. I finally got my hit points to 1,009,431 and playing demigorgon-which I am not fond of anyway I noticed my hit points were 444, something. I am still fuming. You cant call it scaling when your in a major dungeon. In the siege battle they are like dropped to like 604,502 at thats okay for there. But demigorgon and mad magee lair. Give me a break NeverWinter devs. These are major bugs. No one grinds for their gear to get cut back in really hard dungeons. At least for me they are.

And plastic bat is probably the only player who has 74 of the dragonbone vale weapons, I don't have the complete set because I never get alloy from the dragonsight treasures.

How often do you activate the dragon sight totems? You can run the circuit of all 12 once an hour has passed from when you activate the first one.

Dragonbone vale weapon set comes from "dragon weapon cache" which is a drop from dragon sight. There is almost no effort to obtain it if you are farming alloy. It does not need alloy.

It is a by product when you fail to get alloy and next to garbage. What you have described how you did it before implies you were not actually farming it (in common practice of 'farming'). You probably just did one run per week to fulfil the quest. If you were farming it, you should have done a 12 dragon sight every other hour. If you did that and still failed a lot to get alloy, you would have a lot of Dragon weapon cache.

I thought he was talking about the stuff at the store in Dragon bone Vale, I use to run the dragon sight treasures regularly, you have to wait 6 or 7 days after completion to get them again. I finished there a long time ago and have gotten almost no alloy. I mention it to support who said some people get a whole lot others take longer. Longer-fine sort of Never-theres a problem that needs fixing.

He was talking about the upgraded weapon is worse than before upgrading.
Hence, I asked him to compare 'before upgraded weapon' with the already upgraded weapon he is having.
Where could he get the 'before upgraded weapon'? From "dragon weapon cache" which I have 74 of them.

That is the reason you don't get enough alloy. You don't wait for 6 or 7 days. You don't need to. You do it in the next hour. You don't need the quest to farm dragon sight.

That's for the weekly quest. The only thing keeping you from doing them hourly is you.
