Tiamat Trial

I wish it would just be removed, It is the one I emd up with the most in random and usually as a replacement and the party is already tired of it, so it usually gets abandoned. I think it is totally boring anyway, all noise and no strategy. Just my opinion, the old one wasn't one of my favorites but at least it could always be played and the rewards were good. Castle Ravenloft is way to long.

I would like to see Protectors Enclave removed

I would be sad, I want to see if one day the construction workers will be able to finish the repairs and facelifting on the houses so I can finally enjoy a Protector's Enclave scenery without any ugly scaffoldings. Let's them have another year, a decade seems a normal amount of time to get that job done

People not knowing how to follow mechanics is no reason to remove something. People need to learn how to play Neverwinter. The answer isn't to dumb Neverwinter down more. It's already been made so simplistic compared to the game Neverwinter was for years. How hard us it to not stand in red, use gems when their color pops up on players, and tank adds away from clerics and tiamat? The answer is, not very hard. Expect more from players, not less from the game.

Totally agree. Sorry, but anyone saying that the Tiamat trial is "all noise and no strategy" is exactly the problem with getting a completion when this pops up as a random. There is strategy - and not difficult strategy at all. I've completed this in randoms as both Healer and DPS. It is possible if people would learn.

Side note from the Warlock healer perspective: red circles bad, green circles good.

All I know is that the majority of people who are there when I am popped in are already to abandon it and I have to wait until they actually do so I dont get the 30 minute penalty. It hasn't gotten more simplistic since I started playing neverwinter. I know a lot depends on the tanks and other players but even in the one that say two tanks there rarely ever is. Red Circles bad and green circles good is a real snotty bit of sarcasm that you know anyone able to even begin to play tiamat knows. Why cant someone post something without all the primadonnas popping in with how great they are but unwilling to share any serious tips. I didn'[t see one remark that helped. People need to learn how to play, it shouldn't be dumbed down , red circles green circles, but nothing not one remark actually constructive.

There usually is a progress to this. With a new zone, people will get more and more experienced and understand tactics better until it is easy.

Just look at normal CoK. It was very hard in the beginning since people did a lot of stupid stuff, now it is fairly routine.

Just be patient and keep trying. If you leave and do not try, you slow down the learning process.

Agree - and remember CoDG when it first came out? Virtually impossible. Then they nerfed the push pull and it became hard to do... then a few months down the line it was relatively easy to complete.

I remember when Savrdborg was virtually impossible and also when original Tiamat was hard ... and finally when Demogorgon was really hard to complete.

I pugged a Tiamat last night and we got to the final phase relatively easily but the final fight finished us off. It was fun, I enjoyed the challenge.

That's what you have guilds, friends and youtube for.
Don't expect someone on the forum to teach you the mechanics of each trial and dungeon.
If you want to play, learn to use the available sources of knowledge, because currently you only present, in addition to ignorance, an attitude of claiming.

Try reading what I actually wrote. "How hard us it to not stand in red, use gems when their color pops up on players, and tank adds away from clerics and Tiamat?" While being sarcastic, what I wrote is a very simple guide for how to do RTQ Tiamat. If you have issues following this, I'm not sure what to say. The version of Tiamat in RTQ is very easy, if those simple mechanics are followed.

Further, as others pointed out, there are plenty of Youtube videos that can be watched to help you learn the mechanics. If you are not familiar with Aragon, I suggest you watch his videos. They are very helpful. Here is a link to one on the Tiamat mechanics.

    It's really not that hard.

Thank you MentinMIndmaker and Callumf what you wrote is good for anyone reading this who isn't a complete end player. To everyone else, I don't see where I asked for help in the mechanics here. I was just saying I wish Tiamat would go away because I get it in random dungeons all the time and people rarely stay and its a waste of time for me.

As usual I got a lot of HAMSTER back like muselchelkas " that's what you have guilds, friends and youtube for.

There was no reason to call me ignorant based on what I vented about and I don't even know what an attitude of claiming the hell is. I hope you don't comment on new players much, you sure wouldnt make them feel warm and welcome. Obviously the more you play something the better you get, it can take a long time for a dungeon to pop up and then if there are only 3 players there its a drag case closed.

A trial or dungeon shouldn't be removed from random just because people leave. The reason why people are leaving Tiamat no longer matches up with any issue that the trial brings. It is going to take time for the general solo queueing player base to stop that behavior. You are also going to see a lot of unfinished/abandoned queues because it's what the system tries to fill first. Once people actually start doing the content, or just voting to close the instance, this will no longer be an issue.

If you don't want to be bombarded with advise to get better results, say so in your first post and don't go attacking the actual trial. The trial isn't your issue, it's the actions of the community you take issue with. Unless of course you want to change your argument again.

Well. I am not a welcoming committee to warmly welcome all new players.
Aside from the fact that you playing the game for almost two years, you are no longer strictly new. You should already know something about it. And inferring from the topics you post, unfortunately you know very little. This is not a crime. But...
You've had enough time to already understand how your character/class works, what are the mechanics of basic dungeons/trials and in general how to play.
You resent the people who respond to your threads for not giving you tips, but any advice, you completely ignore.

I usually use three criteria when responding to a post. First, I check the posts of the person in question, second, I determine the tone of speech in which he or she is addressing and what he or she expects, and third, I try to see such a person in the game to see for myself what the problem is.

Sometimes there are people who cannot be helped, no matter how much one wants to. I have the impression that you are one of them.
I told you earlier in the thread about your damage to inspect endgame people who plays your class and look for a good build.... What did you do about it?
I'll answer for you: absolutely nothing.
So what do you expect from people on the forum or from support? That they will start playing for you? This game has been trivialized to adapt it for beginners. Over several years craptic tried to get rid of as many old players as possible who remembers the glory of neverwinter.... But for you it is still too difficult, because you are not given anything on a golden platter and, omg! you need to use at least a few gray cells.
It's sad and depressing when you see 70k players wearing orange/mythical items and dealing damage like a companion.
That's why I'm not and won't be nice to people who don't want to take advice, only feeling sorry for themselves. Do something about yourself, or at least try. No one will do it for you.
