Bug: Audio Options, default to Digital Audio, not speakers or headset & saved.

This used to happen 2-3 years ago, every day you'd have to change and save it. Now it seems back, so I finally tried to even disable Digital Audio in Windows--yet it still defaults in VOICE CHAT to Digital Audio, despite the device being disabled in Windows.

Yet the game still chooses Digital Audio for Voice Chat first, even though it's a disabled DEVICE in Control Panel Device Manager. *sigh*


Please FIX and resolve this.

    This only started since Thursday's patch, prior to that it remembered the Output for Voice Chat settings. I even tried to disable Digital Audio in Windows - Control Panel - Device Manager and still despite being disabled and computer rebooted, game still sets it to Digital Audio first.

    I'm not sure when this was added, I'll try turning this off. Maybe that's the cause, still even if I disable Digital Audio, it still selects this in Voice Chat by Default. Previously it used to remember that Speakers, or Headset was saved as the Primary choice! This problem only started on M23.

    Even if I set Speakers or Headset to Output in Voice Chat, it forever changes back to Digital Audio in VOICE CHAT, even though I've disabled this device in Windows. It's fine remembering Speakers or Headset for most Audio above Voice Chat, it's only under Voice Chat that it does NOT remember the Output. :(

    Yes it is also set to Speakers in Windows 11.



    Yet I've even disabled Digital Audio in Windows yet since M23, in VOICE CHAT not normal AUDIO settings, it always changes to Digital Audio each time I relaunch the CLIENT, even though I've saved Speakers or Headset as my preference of choice!

    This sometimes effects different people at different times, I've know many who sometimes have seen this BUG show up for often weeks or months at a time. They suddenly it finally remembers the setting saved in VOICE CHAT.

    You are using Win11 and I think it is a critical information. I personally would not upgrade to win11 until I am forced to or until I hear some encouraging news about it.

    Windows 11 though isn't the problem here, this only changed with M23. It's a problem we used to often see since M16 or even well before that, mostly with VOICE CHAT. :(
