Suggestion: Health Stones

I have brought this up a while ago and will bring it up again..

As a tank I only have Health Stones loaded for those moments its needed, and those charges are not combinable (like potions and such).
Since a tank is under constant attack, and have to be aware on mechanics and the welbeing of the group as whole (by intercept adds before they do harm to DPS (and most importantly the Healer))...
So a tank is always entering battle with sufficent charges on Health Stones, since they don't have time to load a new one on slot during fight's.

This means that a tank always ends up with Health Stones in bag with low charges on it and ends up with just delete those Stones..
It's my opinion that it should be possible to combine Stones to a fully charged one, like we see with any other consumable in game..

Devs should take some time to look into this..

Indeed, this happened to me too. They should be stackable to the limit, if the pack is of 200 health stones, and is account bound you should be able to put other account bound stones up to 200 in this pack.

Love this idea. IDK how difficult it would be to convert health stones in this way, but, I'm thinking of the green trowel in SKT - you buy 30 charges at a time that just get added to your existing item.

"Here. Grumgully give you this stone. Save your life, it will."

    "How many times?"

"Erm. Fifty. Fifty times it save your life."

"What do I do when it runs out?"

"Throw it away. Come to Grumgully for new stone."

This may sound stupid (because I don't use health stone) but when there is a 'short' health stone stack (say, has only 10 charges or less), can one temporary waste one potion slot to hold another full stack until the first one runs out?

Yes, of course. But [insert reason I need that slot for another thing].

I just leave the old stone in until it runs out but have a new stone in an easy to find spot in my inventory. double click it and it goes to the now vacant slot. There is however the annoyance that there is no 'apply to all' function for belt slots. Additionally, there is a lot of weird behavior with loadouts after replacing a health stone. Sometimes you switch and it grabs another stone in your inventory, spitting the newly slotted stone back. Sometimes it just unequips the newly slotted stone.

Though you have a valid point (a work around) but that is not the reason of my post...
    Example.
A tank uses in belt slots.
    1.HP Stone
    2. Empowered Chain of Scales
    3. Caprese (sometimes I swap this out for Tears of Bahamut).

A DPS/Healer uses in Belt slots
    1. HP Potions
    2. Awakened Forgers box
    3. Watermelon Sorbet.

My point is (in this example), consumables like Caprese, HP Potions and Watermelon Sorbets are stackable to full stacks while HP Stones have not that abillity.
Tanks have not always (in hectic situations) time om opening up inventory to load new HP Stones, so most Tanks are ending up with stones in bag with 3 or 4 charges on it without possibillity to combine them to a full stack. This resulting in a waste of bag space end ending up in just delete those stone with low charges..

Dev's should take time to look into this IMHO

I personally leave food items in inventory because they last for a long while and I don't need to consume them in a dying (or combat) situation. If I am dead, I have enough time to open inventory to take food item, potion, vitamin, etc. I usually have 3 to 4 for the whole regiment. I used to have even more but that is a different story.

Of course, they should still stack health stone regardless how players use their belt slots.

I like this idea, the max Stacks should be based on the quality of Stone; 200 for Mythic, 100 for Legendary, 50 for Epic. Yet you should require a similar quality to stack them, and similar bindings as well...

I'd love if they did this!

Some things need to remain locked in the internal logic of the game and not tossed out for player convenience.

I agree, as I said it be nice to make them stack based on their quality; yet it's not entirely the big problem everyone makes it to be. It be nice if they could make them stack without disruption; provided it's the same binding as the stone your stacking. Will they is another question though...
