Armor Smith doesn't have Pants, at 19-20 maybe never did; Tailor & Leather do.

I mean it's pretty clear, and seems really ODD, Paladins, Barbarians, Fighters, or Cleric's can't craft Pants only the Shirts. In the OLD system prior to MOD 16, you certainly could craft chainmail or metal enforced pants.

Do they want us running around without them? :s

Maybe this BUG has been around for Years, yet they really should allow us to craft chainmail pants. o:)

Cobalt Chainmail (1100 item level) can be worn by any class.
Valvet Pants, Valvet Trousers (tailoring), Stonehide Breeches (leaderworking) (1100 item level) can be worn by any class.

Well that's good news, still just seems really strange you can't make Hardsteel Pants, or Cobalt Pants. You'd think a Fighting class want the more chainmail pants.

They all now have sensitive skins. It is hard to scratch through chainmail. :)

Yea I won't disagree that Leather or Fabric be more comfortable for sure. I just really use to like to wear my Adamantine Chainmail Shirt, along with matching Pants as a visual appearance. It used to look amazing!

Now that isn't available for new Players, without being able to craft the Steeliron or Cobalt Pants.

Is it just that we're comparing different types of things?

No it's not... I checked in the game later and I think you are right... you can make shirt items with no corresponding pants items to make.
So what I said before was rubbish... Sorry 😔 I thought they looked like armour pieces.

Visual appearance isn't tied to the piece of gear you're wearing. Just set your appearance as you like, adamantine undies or whatever.

Yea still for me the reason is mostly cosmetic, as I would like Adamantine Pants, Steel, or Cobalt Pants for Cleric, Ranger, Rogue and a few others as well like my new Bard.
