message board

I think it would be very handy to have a message board in the guildhall. People can set there knowledge there for new members in this game. We have new players and i remember how it was for me when i started this game a long time ago. For example how to use guild boons, how works the companion system or the mount system. How to raise your item level. Where to get my gear or weapons. I think you know this all but for new members/players it can be overwhelming. After the easy leveling and you hit level 20 then it starts al lot of areas to deal with a lot of dungeons to play with other people..It can be handy to read explanations on the board in the guild hall

Most guild put a URL to their web site for those information in the Description field in "Guild Information". A web page has better presentation than whatever Cryptic is able to do. Easier to edit. Easier to manage. Easier to use new technology.

Abyss had created a Facebook page for WoO. I don't know if it is still there. I left it after that mess with Never a few years back.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

I don't know how big the MotD is, I would think one could place a url there to a personal blog or wiki?

My wife ran a Guild Wars guild on Facebook because the game doesn't have game mail, it is a chat only MMO. After some time she dropped her page and joined a Facebook group of thousands of players. I just asked, Wendy told me it is called "Guild Wars a New Hope". People use Facebook to hook up on many games. Her guild leader on Neverwinter ran Facebook group as well. Some guilds have forums, their own web page, and/or discord. If anyone is seeking "active" guilds, the best method is to press O and Find Guild, then sort on the quantity of recruiters online. That would mean, they are active and looking for players.
