Echoes of Propechy dailies only giving 8 progression after purchasing battle pass?

So before I bought EoP battle pass I got 24 progression point for each daily mission. Now I got 8 divided by the three milestones.
I have completed the third milestone, but now I only get 8 progression point towards milestone 1 and2.
Is this intentional or a bug? Because if its intentional, then it doesnt make sense to progress in the BP until milestone 3 is released. I really burned easy progression by going into milestone 3 before getting EoP.
