Undermountain: Essence and ME broken on Bards.

No matter how much i try and do, can't gain essence from the encounters. And even with three runes i can't get rewards after finishing a ME. There goes my excuse to talk with Zok.

I think you should look around at Yawning Portal for quests you can pick up.

I did pick up the quests for ME and the adventure is long completed.

You need to either compete the quests from Runemaster Sinye (not recommended) or just keep the last quest to restore and armor piece, in your journal. Otherwise you can't get resources from Runic Corruption or ME chest rewards.

Tried that, the first part getting 3 of each works fine, after you get 3 of each you stop getting them and the gear never drops.

Did you go back to the quest giver afterwards? She gives you another mission so you obtain an Enhanced Runic Resonator - this is what you need to get the rewards from the chests.

Update.
After a lot of grinding in different maps i was able to advance to the quest that ask you to restore an armor. The armor never droped but even after canceling the quest i was still getting stones.
I was able to use them in the ME and now i do have access to the chest and get the rewards from the runes i put. If im not mistaken, there should be more rewards than just the runes i used tho.

Either there are not bard armors to restore or my rng is bad.

I guess this issue it's solved. Thank you all for your time and helping me. I really apreciate it ^^

It's ok, you don't need the armor and it's unnecessary for the drops (as you found out!).

The restore gear quest is a waste of time and resources and you'll never use it anyway. I did it once and regretted it, I haven't ever bothered with doing it since.
