Cant type in Queue chat, or have to do it twice to start chat

I know this was an issue in the past but here it is during event. And others have stated it happens to them as well.
When in a party and using queue group chat; one must type an entry twice for chatting to begin.
For instance, we initiate by typing /q then type message and hit enter. Nothing happens. but one is in the queue channel. Then type message again, hit enter and it comes up.
I have only found this here recently.

Party chat works like that too but you don't have to type it again just hit "up arrow" key and enter to send your message.
