[Ticket Updated]: 551555: When changing characters, I lose all chat channels

Firstly, my thanks to GM Etelia for looking into this matter and recommending posting here after we exhausted the most common resolutions.

OK, so onto reproduction:

1. Login to Neverwinter on Linux (current build Ubuntu 21.04, hirsute)
2. Select any character in the account
3. Play game as usual, or just check [System Notify] messages connect to standard chat channels (Guild, Alliance, Zone etc)
4. Swap character
5. That's it, no [System Notify] messages connecting to standard chat channels (Guild, Alliance, Zone etc)

I note that this issue/bug is not present when using Windows10.
Also, logging off/on resets chat lost channels to step 1. above.

That was reported long ago. An known issue playing NW using Linux. Player @hotfrostworm wrote a detail bug report for this. I don't see Cryptic cares to do anything about this.

Thank you for reporting! While we don't officially support Linux, I have passed on your concern to the team to see if we can put together some basic Linux troubleshooting steps or look into it further on our side.

Just want to let you guys know this problem has stopped happening on current Preview version (mod22).
