Campaigns:
I would like to ask that Campaigns be done quickly, it is a long time in a campaign. Each expansion is a new campaign, ok. But what about the old campaigns? must be 1 week maximum in one campaign. The focus should be on the new expansion and not get involved in other old campaigns.
And another thing, when doing the campaign with one character, she already opposes it for all the other later characters. doing so will have much more agility.
Companions:
companions that you buy with ad and additional, should also appear for all later characters. it is a lot of money and time to buy companions for each separate character.

I wouldn't make the progression serial in nature, but semi-parallel. For example:
Complete 50% of Well of Dragons or IceWind Dale to unlock SKT and River District.
Complete 50% of SKT or River District to unlock Chult and Ravenloft.
Complete 50% of Chult or Raveloft to unlock Undermoutain.
Complete 50% of Undermountain to unlock Avernus.
And.. they should get rid of the stupid gear packs that come at the start of Undermountain and Ravenloft.
The funny thing is that nothing happens if you skip most of the campaigns. Especially the tedious ones... start them, have a look, and if it is not for you, skip it.
For alts there already are tokens that double the speed of your progress, and don't forget the double currency weeks in general - they do a lot as well.
Another thing: If you really want to have them completed while not spending much time, there are campaign buyouts in Zen market.
All in all, in this aspect the game is surprisingly benevolent, so I do not share the OP idea to trim it down even more than it is already.
Companions:
This is a long lasting dilemma. Companions are one of the major investments - so they serve as a goal for players, keep players occupied, and it even renders some revenue for the company. Massively simplifying this system would mean a massive change to the game structure... and lets be honest: big changes can hurt the market in a big way.
(They actually are making Zen market companions cheaper and account-wide, however, they did not announce changing the offered variety... as there is mostly no point in owning what is there, buying them at lower price will still lead to regret anyway.)
